Alternative pop troupe A Rocket To The Moon will release “Wild & Free,” the long-awaited follow-up to their 2009 debut album “On Your Side,” on Mar. 26 through Fueled By Ramen. Led by the sweeping mid-tempo single “Ever Enough,” the new album showcases the growth of the four-piece — and you can hear the entire thing one week early, exclusively on Billboard.com:
Produced by Mark Bright, a veteran country music producer who’s helmed albums by Rascal Flatts and Scotty McCreery, “Ever Enough” carries an underlying appreciation of Nashville, after “On Your Side,” which has sold 82,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan, presented a more straight-ahead pop sensibility. The music video for “Ever Enough,” which has scored 679,000 YouTube views since its premiere last month, perfectly conveys the rootsy, humbly romantic vibe of the new album.

“We wrote it about the past and the future,” the band, which is led by singer Nick Santino, says in a press statement. “Not knowing what’s next is the most exciting yet terrifying thing in life. Remembering to enjoy what little time we have here and remembering to live without regret or worry. That is what it is to be ‘Wild & Free.'”
To celebrate the release of “Wild & Free,” Santino will perform an acoustic show at Newbury Comics in Braintree, Mass. on the album street date of Mar. 26. In between the release of “On Your Side” and its follow-up, A Rocket To The Moon has shared stages with artists like We The Kings, Mayday Parade, Go Radio and Never Shout Never.
