Christina Aguilera may be a bit preoccupied with the pregnancy of her second child, but never fear, Xtina diehards: new music is on the way. On Saturday (Apr. 19), the 33-year-old pop singer confirmed that she is working on the full-length follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus.”

“So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon…album, baby & beautiful music to come,” Aguilera wrote on Twitter. Two days earlier, the singer posted a photo of her and fiance Matt Rutler in New York, with her longtime beau rubbing her baby bump.
Aguilera’s “Lotus” album produced the singles “Your Body” and “Just a Fool,” although the pop veteran has earned a handful of hits that didn’t appear on the album track list since its release. “Feel This Moment,” her collaboration with Pitbull, and “Say Something,” her duet with A Great Big World, were both Top 10 hits on the Hot 100 chart, and Aguilera also recorded a new version of “Do What U Want” with Lady Gaga at the end of last year.
Aguilera and film producer Rutler announced that they were expecting their first child together last February. The singer is also the mother of six-year-old Max, her son with Jordan Bratman.
